Semi Automatic Clutches
There are two
types of semi automatic clutch system:
The z-Start – a race proven product that’s used at
all levels from senior through to fun riders - for enduro, supermoto and
motocross riders.
The Pro
Start – a world first in semi auto units for road
bikes – currently available for Harley Davidson big V twins and the
Sportster range, this makes riding through traffic, towns and cities a joy!
Rekluse developed the z-Start
Clutch to revolutionize the clutch industry. The z-Start Clutch is the
ultimate performance product for every rider. The z-Start Clutch eliminates
stalling and puts more power to the ground in the most demanding situations.
Whether you’re a new trail rider or a pro motocross competitor, you can
benefit from the latest in race proven clutch technology. The z-Start Clutch
is easy to install as it simply replaces your stock pressure plate with no
special modifications.
The z-Start Clutch automatically disengages the engine at idle speed. As
throttle is applied, centrifugal forces engage the clutch providing perfect
clutch feathering control as the throttle is applied.
The z-Start Clutch will
eliminate stalling, reduce arm-pump, increase corner speed, improve traction
and tyre life, get quicker starts and retain the stock clutch lever to fully
override the z-Start clutch giving the rider the control of a stock clutch
operated bike. As used at all levels in Enduro, Supermoto, Trails and
Motocross.
The Pro Start Clutch
turns your stock, manual clutch into a
high-performance, semi-automatic, centrifugal clutch. The Rekluse ProStart
Clutch is just like having a professional working the clutch for you during
starts, stops and slow speed maneuvering.
The Pro Start Clutch automatically disengages the clutch at idle, no need to
find neutral or hold in the clutch lever while waiting at lights. Twist the
throttle gently and the ProStart moves you forward smoother than you ever
thought possible. Twist the throttle hard and the ProStart Clutch launches
you forward harder than you ever imagined. When you return to a stop, the
ProStart Clutch automatically disengages the clutch for you. Shifting with
the ProStart is just like your stock bike with the added benefit of a
lighter clutch lever pull at lower engine speeds.
